Noctunal Events
At 17, Joanne entered event promotion, swiftly transitioning to event production by 2011. As SPB & SF for 3 years, she rebranded to Nocturnal Events in 2014. Managing event spaces connected her with Toronto's top entertainment complexes, influencers, and artists. Today, she leads event production and holds pivotal roles in global music concerts and festivals. Joining the legacy awards production team in 2023 further enriched her career
In 2015, Joanne entered costume design, contributing to the Toronto Caribbean Carnival, North America's largest street festival drawing 2 million attendees annually. Merging her visual art and event production expertise, she empowered youth within the industry, leading her team to become the festival's youngest mas band in 2016. Their youth programs gained notable coverage on Breakfast Television, CBC, and more. In 2017, she rebranded as Allure Carnival, now operating in Miami and Toronto.

In 2019 and 2020, Allure secured its debut as the national costume designer for Miss Universe Canada, creating stunning designs for Nova Stevens, the 2020 pageant winner, leading to further pageant collaborations. The company gained significant exposure in 2022, featured on City News and Greenline Toronto, alongside a commercial booking with Kilani Jewellery.

In 2019, Allure ventured into fashion design with a carnival-inspired touch through Brazarrbras, specializing in handmade blinged bras and year-round outfits. Joanne's styling expertise attracted collaborations with icons like Stefflon Don, Shenseea, and Voir Fashion Magazine..
community initiatives
Joanne is also known for Youth carnival workshops, conducted in collaboration with institutions such as the Toronto District School Board (TDSB), universities, colleges, youth programs, and the City of Toronto. These workshops play a crucial role in educating youth about the origins of carnival and potential career paths, bridging the gap between generations and involving young minds in the carnival's operations. The mission is to empower young individuals to explore and immerse themselves in Caribbean culture. Joanne is also known as an art instructor with Tray arts a company that coordinates sip & paint events all in the love of mental health.

Joanne is studying Costume design for film & television. Her goal is to get into Iatse & or Nabet with a good intern placement as an assistant costume designer.
